Draft Express had become the premier destination for 2k20 mt central draft nerds, but fans looking for a similar service will have to head to ESPN. Draft Express founder Jonathan Givony announced he has signed with ESPN. While the Draft Express site will remain up and running, no new content will be produced.
Similar to what has happened with Grantland, fans will still be able to read old articles with the last articles being published in early July. Givony released the following statement:
We’re proud to announce that Jonathan Givony and Mike Schmitz will be joining ESPN as NBA Draft analysts. DraftExpress will remain on the web with all of our existing archive, but will not be publishing any new content moving forward. All articles, rankings, mock drafts and event recaps moving forward will be published on ESPN. Thanks to everyone that has contributed to DraftExpress, and the millions of readers who have visited our website diligently over the past 14 years.
Mike Schmitz will also be joining Givony at ESPN. Schmitz had become well-known for his in-depth videos on draft prospects.
Givony has already begun working for ESPN as this profile of the 2019 mt prices 2k20 Draft class shows. The Vertical already lost Adrian Wojnarowski and Bobby Marks to ESPN earlier this month. Givony and Schmitz are just the latest to leave the site that was under the Yahoo Sports umbrella.
