Its really still just a numbers game where its super important to PSO2 Meseta decide on the right passives, grind your gear to maximum and see those damage amounts go up. The english patch has improved tremendously since I played and the sole non-english components you'll likely encounter will be with story content. They do patch occasion translations quickly. If you had friends to play 13, I would recommend it. So that you won't ever get lost with it, the narrative is not very complex and Phantasy Star Online 2 has a lot as soon as you become invested of grinding. If you do not have people to play with they do allow your celebration to fill and you never will need to coordinate when partying with players.
I was a big big fan of PSO1, dabbled in PSOU. Once I obtained setup and managed to perform with I made it to just about degree 27~ish until I threw in the towel. It is not that it took me long to get there, a couple hours a night here or there. It's just Phantasy Star Online 2 doesn't feel like PSO for me, Phantasy Star Online 2 hubs are littered with people simply using Phantasy Star Online 2 as a chat room so it's annoying to be forced into others cringy conversations, tons of"snuggles u" kind of shit. The combat feels really lackluster, all you do is just run down tunnels or halls even though the maps look larger, and you simply burst enemies down (depending on your weapon design ) and it simply feels effortless.
Now, like any game I'm sure it gets harder as you level up but based on what I was playing with it was too simple and I believe I was around level 15 until I got hit once. There are daily quests (I hate daily quests) and the assignment board is just underwhelming. It is your average enter the map and then kill 12 items, for a good bulk of Phantasy Star Online 2 playwith. You may have fun, I don't know but it feels like a game and I was let down by the quality of Phantasy Star Online 2. Like a brand name / nostalgia money grab than a provider in making an excellent game investing.
Games evolve over the years, When it first came out it took waaaaaay to get to level 27. And combat is lackluster? I don't believe you recall PSO 1&2 then. This activity combat is a step not only that you receive a ton of PAs to go along with weapons.
Yeah then you have to control the camera in a way that is particular. It is definitely not perfect, but the challenge does not just come from these weird troubles. When I play a game for 1-2 hours and that I hardly felt there is a risk of dying, then I typically will put it down rather than play with it again (though I have about 200 hours on PSO2 because I stuck with it due to the 1000s of cheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta hours I put in PSO1). Where the other poster came from so I totally understand.
