Maps are no longer split into areas with loading screens. NG is going to have totally open world in the home base to PSO2 Meseta the field. The TGS footage showed off a gorgeous new world that is a substantial update from the current game. Arai cites that different areas can be attained seamlessly simply by exposing the entire world. It looks like this is the planet Naberious in the current game, with woods being adjacent to tundra and other regions. Areas are still technically divided up, but there is no loading between these. While it hasn't been directly said, an open world such as this suggests there might not be single celebration areas anymore. Most revealed in the footage were multi-party areas where there were other gamers. The cap for multi-party areas has been lowered to eight from twelve in the present PSO2, but who you see will differ from area to area.
Weather is making a better comeback as it affects dynamically and can affect the battlefield, although the magnitude of the effect was not spoken of. Time will also change, and footage showed several nice touches such as fireflies in the woods at night. There is no word on fast travel, mounts or vehicles nevertheless, but Sega has implemented several new ways for players to move fast across this large new world. Players will be able to run faster following a dodge both in and outside of combat. A blue streak follows underfoot, so you'll know you're doing it right once you watch it.
The other significant addition to movement shown off in the first NG trailer is that the glide. It goes as far as some of those screenshots have left it seem. Players may get to high ground and leap off to slide and receive pretty damn far through the map. Like in Breath of the Wild, you will be able to make you're way up a mountain to slide away from -- but minus anything inhibiting you like endurance. It will also cause some dramatic entrances into conflict. Sega mentioned that crafting and gathering would be getting an overhaul, and while we didn't have a look at crafting, we did see how much nicer it would be to snag items in the field. Gathering can be done on the fly, very similar to Monster Hunter: World. Get close to a product, and tap a button. Fruit can be picked in trees, there are fresh docile creatures that may be hunted for meat and other items and healing items are seen throughout the land as green bright indicators called Resta Signals. It's much more intuitive than the present game. It is only faster, more portable and smoother. There are no more Perfect Attacks; rather, it's more like modern action games with combos and counterattacks. Dodging and obstructing is liquid for many classes also. Certain classes may observe a difference in drama. There is no longer attacking from the atmosphere indefinitely, so expect to be on the ground more dodging and countering. Attacks and PAs are set up the same manner they are now with certain buttons performing specific strikes or the 1-2-3 system. As far as PB's go, because Mag's won't be a part of gameplay , they behave more like Complex Photon Arts, that have been released in Japan's PSO2 with Episode 6. As opposed to summoning a monster, PB's will instead be a massive attack coping serious damage that should be recharged through combat.
Of the three courses they showed, Force had a few of the biggest changes. They now have a block similar to Hunters in addition to can you buy meseta on pso2 their dodge, which can be a much-needed improvement as they can be delicate and slowed down by Technique charging. Techniques also have gotten better in that they no longer must get charged to use. They now have an uncharged attack which, although not as powerful as the billed variant, still does some fantastic damage.
