The death piles of Ultimate Ironman were proposed back in December. Now the community has expressed their opinion with OSRS Gold. The responses to the suggestions were favorable for the most part however, some players expressed concerns on memory capacity since if there are multiple items that appear on one tile, the world will begin deleting the tiles to ensure stability. The team confirms with this announcement that the things will stay in their own file whenever death occurs because deaths will be on the save of the player and not the world save.
Another thing you may notice is a direct link to RuneLite on the homepage. This is a result of the partnership Jagex was able to sign together with RuneLite development team about a month ago . A variety of video games have led to aspiring developers make their own. However, it's rare to see an original idea taken up by the company behind the original game.
However, this was the case for Brendan Malcolm, the one-man team of Australian developers Games By Malcs, whose idle RPG Melvor Idle is being published by Jagex who are the developers of RuneScape, a game which was the main inspiration behind his own initiative.
Melvor Idle strips away the graphics and 3D environments of RuneScape and similar MMOs and reduces it to a purely menu-based idle game, where players manage their skills, inventory and quests with Buy RuneScape Gold. In combat, completing battles with a winning streak earns players XP and loot, which can be used to purchase any level of skill tree or upgrade players wish to purchase, while performing repetitive tasks like crafting or woodcutting can bring rewards of their own.
